GP surgeries will close at their normal time on Friday, 21 December and due to the bank holidays will not re-open until Thursday 27 December. GP surgeries will also be closed on Tuesday 1 January 2019.
Urgent GP appointments will be available between the Christmas holidays. To find out what is available please contact your GP surgery.

Can help if you need medical help or advice urgently but it’s not a life-threatening situation. NHS 111 connects you to a team of fully trained call advisers who are supported by experienced nurses, paramedics, and GPs.
The NHS 111 team will assess your condition over the phone and if they think you need to be seen by a health professional, they will refer you to the Out of Hours GP service.
If necessary, they can also call an ambulance or direct you straight to A&E. Calls to NHS 111 are free from a landline or mobile phone.

Safe Havens are evening and weekend drop in services for people experiencing a mental health crisis or seeking wellbeing or peer support. There are five locations in Surrey and north east Hampshire. They are open every day including bank holidays 6pm-11pm.

Christmas/Winter Night Shelters
East Surrey Winter Night Shelter
The East Surrey Winter Night Shelter runs from December to March and is hosted at churches across East Surrey, with the help and dedication of a large team of trained volunteers from Chipstead, Horley, Merstham, Redhill, Reigate, South Nutfield and Warlingham, the shelter provides a safe place to sleep for people who find themselves homeless during the coldest months of the year.
The guests are referred by one of the partners agencies, which include Reigate and Banstead Council, Tandridge District Council, East Surrey Outreach Service and the Probation Service. On referral the guest is interviewed to make sure the Winter Night Shelter will be the safest and most suitable option for them.

Wayside will accept applicants with drug, alcohol or mental health problems as long as they will commit themselves to treatment. Wayside will not accept applicants with a history of extreme violence to others.
StreetLink exists to help end rough sleeping by enabling members of the public to connect people sleeping rough with the local services that can support them. If you are concerned about someone you have seen sleeping rough in England or Wales, you can use this website to send an alert to StreetLink. The details you provide are sent to the local authority or outreach service for the area in which you have seen the person, to help them find the individual and connect them to support.
