With all of the chocolate being consumed this Easter, it is vital that we take care of our teeth to prevent tooth decay. Below are some requirements to help you ensure your teeth remain in good condition.

Brush your teeth twice a day

You should be brushing your teeth twice a day for two minutes at a time with a fluoride toothpaste. This helps to remove plaque from the surface of your teeth and helps to keep them healthy.

Use dental floss

Flossing helps to clean between your teeth. Doing this regularly can reduce gum disease and bad breath by removing plaque that forms along the gum line.

Don’t rinse your mouth out immediately after brushing

This will wash away the concentrated fluoride in the remaining toothpaste left on your teeth, which will prevent it from strengthening your tooth enamel.
