Support group for patients with brain tumours providing emotional and practical support, plus the opportunity to share experiences in confidence.
South East Cancer Help Centre
This group is based in Purley and attended by bowel cancer patients as well as their carers, friends, volunteers and families. We provide support and information, create awareness of symptoms and offers opportunities to talk freely about the needs of patients or carers.
The group holds a small cafe on arrival and evenings start with members time where member share experiences and help support each other. Evenings also include education and entertainment, guest scientist, therapist or celebrity speakers and also a chance to do some gentle exercises for those that want to.
An informal support group for women affected by Breast Cancer where they can mix with others for support and friendship. The groups provides coffee, chat, Cancer information materials and information, befriending, guest speakers and a chance to socialise.
