A list of cancer support groups in Surrey is maintained on the Macmillan Cancer UK website. These groups offer support to people diagnosed with cancer, those who are pre-diagnosis, family members and friends.


Brain Tumour Patients & Carers Support Groups

Support group for patients with brain tumours providing emotional and practical support, plus the opportunity to share experiences in confidence.


Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary

Bluebells Cancer Support Group are a friendly, sharing group for anyone with cancer. They meet on the first and third Thursday of each month from 11am-1pm at the Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary.

Community Services

South East Cancer Help Centre

This group is based in Purley and attended by bowel cancer patients as well as their carers, friends, volunteers and families. We provide support and information, create awareness of symptoms and offers opportunities to talk freely about the needs of patients or carers.


Macmillan Service

Provides moral, emotional and physical support for cancer patients and their carers. Offers befriending, bereavement support, cancer information materials, complementary therapies, councelling and dietary therapy.
