Safe Haven - Epsom
Description
An evening drop-in service 6pm -11pm providing out of hours help and support to people and their carers who are experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress. The Safe Havens are open evenings, weekends and bank holidays and are designed to provide adults with a safe alternative to A&E when in crisis. In addition, each of the Safe Havens is also now offering an online service during opening times so that people can receive expert advice and support without having to leave home https://nhs.vc/sabp/safe-haven-Epsom.
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust provide this service in partnership with, NE Hants and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group, the local CCG, Andover Mind, the local mental health charity, Catalyst, a non-profit organisation who specialist in mental health and drug and alcohol misuse services.
Safe Haven services are available in five town centre locations across Surrey and north east Hampshire and open to residents of any district or borough within this area. e.g. if you live in Epsom you could drop in to the Guildford Safe Haven.
