Safe Place - Elmbridge
Description
A Safe Place helps vulnerable people if they are feeling scared, confused, upset or anxious while out and about and need support right away. The scheme offers a safe way for vulnerable residents to alert someone about a potential risk or challenge, if they are out on their own.
The Elmbridge safe place scheme is primarily designed to support:

people with memory loss

people with learning disabilities
-
people with physical disabilities or reduced mobility
-
people with autism/autism spectrum disorder
-
people with mental health concerns
-
people who are deaf/ hard of hearing
-
people who are blind or partially sighted
-
older people
A safe place logo will be visible in a window or on a door to help vulnerable residents identify a registered venue or 'safe place'.
